Awesome Oatmeal alternative. I find that it does take a little longer to cook than the bag states, but that could also be my mushiness preference. It's a more toothsome than oats, with one grain being noticeably chewy which is actually kind of nice. Maybe it's my taste of late, but I find a slight bitter edge to this blend that makes it it tough to go sweetener free, but 1 tsp of honey seems to do the trick to soften the edge and it becomes a delicious morning porridge. I also don't get the sugar spike/low from this like I do oats so it'll likely be a complete replacement for it from now on.

I bought a small bag of this wonderful cereal blend a few years ago and soon after returned for my first 25lb bag. This has been my breakfast of choice ever since, not only because it is delicious but also because I feel great after eating it: sated, energized, and ready for the day ahead.
